Peshawar, 1 October 2011, explosion has occurred in Acheni Mera area of Sarband near Khyber agency early morning. The area which is near to Police station Sarband, unknown person fix a bomb in front of Taj Mohammad Hujra (home), which blast early the morning, in result 3 persons named Bashir, Tariq and Qalandar Shah injured in blast. Taj Mohammad is resident of Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency.
Blast also hit the mosque and three vehicles, in Hujra, after blast local people starts and they sent the injured to hospital for medical treatment.
Police also start investigation of the incident. Till yet no one taken responsibility of the blast.
KP government has decided to kick out afghan Refugees from Province.
Peshawar, 30 September 2011, Provincial government has decided to kick out Afghan Refugees whose employees in Afghan national Force in Afghanistan and they were staying in Pakistan. KP government has also ordered to different department to push the afghan refuges that’s have homes in Khyber PukhtoonKhwa province. Home department also ordered to Intelligence agencies and Revenue Board to collect the information about afghan refugees.
The decision has made in meeting whose presiding by provincial Secretary interior Mohammad Azam Khan on Saturday at Pesahwar. The officer of Different departments has attended the meeting.
Its has decided that Special Branch of Police and Federal Investigation Agency ( F.I.A ) will check the afghan Refugees statues , Fake Computerized National Identity Card and other Educational document , which made by Afghan Refugees in KP province.
The decision has also made in meeting that afghan refugees whose are staying in urban areas, will sent back to refuges camps to ensure the law & order situation. The afghan Refuges camp management will register the name of all families, work, which were living in camps.

Peshawar, 30 September 2011, FATA Secretariat has terminated the services of 21 Khasadars, after escape of a key culprit belonging to a terrorist organization from a Prison.
Due to negligence of jail administration, most wanted terrorist escaped from the custody at Tehsil Ghalanai just two days before Eid.
FATA Secretariat took prompt notice and sought report from Political Agent Mohmand Agency.
PA after completing the investigation submitted the report under which 21 Khasadars were terminated from service. In this connection FATA Secretariat has issued notification.

Elders banned the women registration in districts tribal agencies.
Peshawar, 28 September 2011, Elders of different area of KP province have banned the female voter registration in new voter list. That affects the news computerized voter list in province. NADRA has Re-Registration of Voter list in different area of the Khyber Province and tribal agencies.
According to sources the elders of seven districts including Peshawar has banned the women registration in new list, also in some tribal area women were not allowed to check their name in voter list nor the elders check and excused to teams whose checking the women name.
Sources said that women’s in Rural area of Peshawar including Mattani , BadhBher , DaudZai , Mathra , Chamkani were not permitted to check their name in Voter list , because of the elders of the area . There was more area of FR Peshawar and tribal belt where women have no right to register their name in new computerized list.

Peshawar, 27 September 2011, Government has banned the learning of Pashto, Urdu language for foreigner at Peshawar and informed the provincial government that with out NOC, foreigner will not admitted in language academies.

Three afghan refuges have died because of Dengue fever.
Pesahwar , 26 September 2011 . Three afghan refuges whose has diagnose Dengue Fever has died and their dead bodies has sent to Afghanistan. The memorial services have observed in Jalal Abad and Kabul city. The resident of Afghan Colony named Zalmy, Abdul Hai of Ring Road Peshawar and 14 year old Gulfaraz has died because of dengue fever in local private hospital. Hospital specially works for afghan refuges in Peshawar University. The afghan refuges received medical treatment in private hospital, yesterday they died in hospital and their relative sent their bodies to Afghanistan.

Govt to drive out Afghan Army personnel from refugee camps
Peshawar, 25 September 2011, Government has decided to deport more than 100 officials of Afghan National Army present in Afghan refugee camps in wake of terrorism threats.
Federal Ministry of Interior has send report from provincial government of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and FATA Secretariat to submit complete details of personnel of Afghan National Army, who are living in the camps of Afghan refugees, located either in KP or tribal areas.
Provincial government has given the list of more 100 officials of Afghan National Army residence in the refugee camps. It is also known that they used to travel between Afghanistan and Pakistan frequently.
Sources said that some quarters have objected to the presence of Afghan Army's staffers in Pakistan by saying that they might either be involved in the sabotage activities or some terrorist attack may occur due to their presence. Meanwhile, the provincial government on directions of Interior Ministry once again started investigations about the linkages of government employees with extremists.
According to details, a monitoring cell has been established for this purpose that includes people from Special Branch of Police and IB. Another monitoring cell was established in the Tribal areas. As per details, after the Malakand operation KP government had demanded a report from all the Commissioners about the linkages of government employees with extremists. Special Power Ordinance was used to terminate these 160 employees on the charge of having linkages with the extremists

Urooj Mohammand and Musarrat Mohammand is the daughters of Hidayat Bibi, Hidayat Bibi had assumed fame in April 1997 after she killed her husband Khaista Khan and an ASI of police Roshan Khan at her residence in Ghareeb abad area.
In that case she was convicted by the district and sessions judge in 1998 and was sentenced to about two months prison term as she had committed the murders in self defense. She had alleged that her husband wanted to exploit her for sexual purposes.

22 police officers select for UN mission and Scholarship

One child in 11 dies before five years age
Peshawar, 21 September 2011, one child in 11 dies before the age of five in Pakistan and half a million children die every year due to preventable causes.
According to health ministry report the current maternal mortality rate in Pakistan is 276 deaths per 100,000 live births with infant mortality rate of 78 deaths for 1000 live births and under five mortality rate of 94 deaths. Report added that the country is facing shortage of health staff as there is a health worker shortage of 202,500.
According to the report, Pakistan in recent years has achieved some progress in reducing its maternal and infant mortality rates and suggested further efforts which are essential to achieve Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5. A child is five times more likely to survive to their fifth birthday if they live in a country with enough midwives, nurses and doctors.
It also tracks the proportion of children who receive regular vaccinations and mothers who have access to life-saving emergency care at birth.

Karachi, 19 September 2011: suicide bomber hit the police officer house in Karachi city , in result 5 police cops , 3 civilian including woman and child were killed in attack. Several people were injured in a car bomb attack targeting a senior police official in the Darakshan area of Karachi on Monday.
According to report from the blast site said at least 8 people had been killed. The explosion left an eight feet crater in the ground. The blast occurred outside the house of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Crime Investigation Department (CID) Chaudhry Aslam. The house, nearby buildings and vehicles in the area were severely damaged after the blast.
Police confirmed that suicide attack and suicide bomber used vehicle to hit the house of police officer. Vehicle was full of explosive. Rangers and police have cordoned off the area.

Peshawar , 19 September 2011 , Tourism Corporation has contacted with Pakistan Railways to start steam safari train between the provincial capital and Attock Khurd for the local and foreign tourists to promote tourism in the province and build a soft image of the militancy-hit region, says a press release.
The release added that the corporation has sent a letter to Secretary Railways Javed Iqbal to revive the tourist attraction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which will be linked up with Abaseen Ferry Service sailing between tourist resort Kund and Attock in Indus River.
The release added that the century-old antiquated steam locomotive belonging to Pakistan Railways was not only one of the best treasured national heritage assets but also a tourist attraction of international fame which used to run through Khyber Pass until recently.
TCKP has sought the revival of the steam safari train on an alternate route - Peshawar to Attock Khurd, saying that under the present challenging times it would not only reassure the safety of public at large but also improve the image of Pakistan Railways and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa globally.
TCKP is fully committed to reviving this fabulous vintage steam train with Sehrai Rail Tours and Pakistan Railways, the release added.
Given the significance of reviving this regional icon which ought to be proudly showcased to the outside world, the corporation has decided to bear the entire rental expenses and to subsidise the cost of the passenger ticket initially to encourage and promote domestic tourism on no-profit basis.
In addition, this move would also project the Attock Khurd Railway Heritage Resort as a new destination on the tourist map of the province in a befitting manner, the release added.
The corporation, besides bearing all the expenses of running of the train would also refurbish, brand and tastefully decorate the parlour VIP coach and two bogies in a vintage theme. It may be mentioned that the Khyber steam safari train was earlier running on the ancient British era railway track between Peshawar and Landikotal.

Saudi funds UNHCR for building 1,000 shelters in Orakzai
Peshawar, 18 September 2011, Saudi government through Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has donated $1.8 million to United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to support the agency’s efforts in building one-room permanent shelters for vulnerable families of Orakzai Agency.
Under the agreement, UNHCR will construct 1,000 one-room permanent shelters for families returning of Orakzai Agency, says a press release.
The UN refugee agency, through its partner Children First, carried out an assessment survey to identify vulnerable families that will benefit from the project. The shelters will be built in Stori Khel, Utman Kallay, Bezot Feroz Khel, Misti Khel and Sheikhano areas of Orakzai Agency.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of the current year.
So far, more than 42,000 people have returned to Orakzai Agency after living in displacement in Kohat and Hangu districts since 2009 due to security operations against militants in the area. UNHCR continues to support more than 63,000 displaced people living in camps in Khyber PukhtoonKhwa province

Media vows to promote working women rights in Pakistan
Peshawar , 17 September 2011, : Media in Pakistan has resolved to play a key role in empowering women and promoting their rights by improving their public profile through a fair and representative coverage of working women in the country. The media persons made this resolve in a discussion on ‘promotion of gender equality in the world of work’ here Saturday, says a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, National Project Coordinator International Labour Organisation (ILO), Frida Khan, said Pakistan has made commendable achievements in promoting gender equality and social justice in the world of work. She said ILO provided assistance in many of these interventions and steps taken for promoting gender equality and social justice in Pakistan.
She noted that there is great potential and talent in the working women of Pakistan especially those serving in media who are well-aware of the fact that a balanced gender based approach has to be calculated in the reporting process to cover creative, productive and dynamic aspects of a woman life.
She said the labour force participation rate for women in Pakistan is 19% (or even less in remote provinces) compared to 70% for men, and even if we account for the fact that much of women’s economic contribution remains invisible and uncounted, it is still very low.
Women face significant challenges finding work in decent working conditions. Alarmingly, vulnerable employment for women increased by 11.9% between 1999 and 2007, she added.
Ms Frida further added that ILO in collaboration with Canadian International Development Agency has taken various initiatives to strengthen national mechanisms to promote equal employment opportunities for women, enhance skills and employability of poor women in rural and urban areas of selected districts. ILO is also working with government, employers and workers to help them understand and implement gender equal policies and practices in their sphere of work.
Speaking on the occasion, Moneeza Hashmi said that Article 25 of the 1973 Constitution stipulated that there will be no discrimination on the basis of sex and promised equality for women in government employment. She urged that a balanced gender based approach has to be inculcated in the reporting process to cover creative, productive and dynamic aspects of a woman life.
Adnan Rehmat, Media Analyst, said that there is a need of enhancing the capacity of media in gender sensitive reporting as in many cases women’s perspectives are missing in the reporting. He also said that media should raise awareness about issues related to gender equality and work.

UNHCR and government t launch major survey on Afghan refugees
Peshawar, 16 September 2011, survey of the world's largest refugee population has been launched by UNHCR and the government of Pakistan. The survey aimed to capture extensive information on the challenges faced by two million Afghan refugees in Pakistan, as well as their contribution to the country's economy.
By responding to questions on their livelihood, health, social conditions, legal and other issues, Afghan refugees will have the opportunity to influence government policy and programme designed to manage a refugee situation that goes back more than 30 years.
Population Profiling Verification and Response (PPVR) survey is being carried out by UNHCR implementing partners Basic Education for Awareness Reforms and Empowerment (BEFAR) and Enterprise for Business and Development Management (EBDM).
Following a trial phase last year, the survey was formally rolled out recently with survey teams going door-to-door in 25 districts in all the four provinces of Pakistan.
It will continue until the end of 2011, by which time several hundred thousand Afghans are expected to have taken part. Two-person male and female survey teams are going door-to-door to collect information on Afghan households and communities in cities, rural areas and camps.
The data gathered in the survey will inform the Pakistan government's Afghan management and repatriation strategy, which will introduce alternative stay arrangements for Afghans in Pakistan, such as visas and permits, by 2012.

Today use included furniture beddings, shoes, clothing’s, and kitchen items.
He said the so far about seven thousand families of Aurkzai, Kurram and Mohamand agencies have been provided with the non food items.

Family of Dr. Shakeel Afridi has leaved the Peshawar city.

Two accused involved in life attempt of Parvez Musharraf shift to Peshawar central jail
Peshawar, 9 September 2011, two accused that were charged in murder attempt case of the former President of Pakistan, two offenders in charged in the attempt of murder of former President Parvez Musharraf has started hunger strike due to forcibly shifting to central prison Peshawar .
It has learned that both the offenders, charged in a suicide attack on Musharaf, living in a death-raw of Peshawar central, prison, as Supreme Court has dismissed their appeal against Court Martial.
Sources in central jail Peshawar, told that these offenders, Adnan Rashid and Niaz Khan, brought from Hari Pur central prison two days back. Jail authorities confirmed their hunger strike, according to Jail Authorities they are demanding, better food.
Source said, Niaz and Adnan Rashid, belongs to district Swabi, Niaz Khan has sustained injuries due to torture. After the shifting of these offenders Jail Authorities has strict the security of Central Prison Peshawar.
Sources gives detail that these offenders were shifted forcibly because these offender stop corruption of Hari Pure Jail Authorities, Authorities of Central Prison Hari Pur were involved in drugs selling in Prison and these offenders stop the illegal business in Prison.
One of the offender works as PeshImam (Religious Scholar) in Hari Pure Prison and he has strong hold in Central Prison Hari Pure.
According to Hari Pure Jail sources the offender also celebrated Ramadan and Eid Ul Fitar as announced Mosque Qasim Ali Khan, in Central Prison Hari Pure. Mosque Qasim Ali khan had announced one day before from Government Committee announced Ramadan, that’s make different in Hari Pure Jail and two Eid were celebrated in Central Prison Hari Pure.

Police also start road checking in city and create new check posts. According to police sources vehicle of explosive enter in the city, which may be hit any government office.
According to police source a truck and Datsun full of explosive had enter in the Peshawar city, after the information police called to additional police for city security. Before the vehicle entry there were 116 check posts at different sites of the Peshawar, including Kohat road, Charsadda road and Road to tribal belt Khyber agency. But after the vehicle entry info police create more check post, especially in Peshawar cantt area, where with out national identity card entry is prohibited.

High court judges should follow the rule of law, Abdul Latif Afridi
Peshawar, 7 September 2011, Judges of High Court should follow the rule of law and didn’t give any order to lower courts judges. The statement com from vice chairman of Pakistan bar council Abdul Latif Afridi here in Peshawar on Wednesday.
He was talking on Eid Milan Party, which has organized by Peshawar district bar. Member bar and serving judges were attended the Eid Milan Party.
Vice chairman of Pakistan bar council Abdul Latif Afridi said that every one talk the liberty of Judiciary, But it’s imposable because civil judges, session judges facing different problem, they even didn’t have good pay. Some time after transfer the Judges facing problem of housing in other district, that makes difficulties for the Judiciary.
Latif Afridi said that in some cases lower courts face pressure from High Courts and it’s not easy for lower courts judges, because if they disobey the order then management send to far long areas. He said that corruption is in different faces in our system, only money is not they way of bribery, judges gives instruction to lower courts, which is corruption. Taliban release the video of kidnapped children
Peshawar, 7 September 2011, Taliban has release the video of kidnapped children of Bajur Agency and demand from government that they terminate the peace force in area. The demands come through Telephonic conversation of Taliban Amir with media.
Taliban Amir of Bajur Mullah Dad Ullah said that they knew some children, whose kidnapped by Taliban are relative of Security Forces, but we our behavior is equal all of them.
Taliban Amir has Demand from the people of the Bajur that they terminate the Peace forces (Aman Lashker) which had formed against Taliban. If they want their children safely return.
Mullah Dad Ullah also stress to the Government of Pakistan, that they release the children & women are whose detain by forces.

44 dingy fever cases found in KP province, 10 confirmed by Health Department
Peshawar, 6 September 2011. Forty four positive cases of dingy virus has found in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province. According to Health Department, most of the dingy fever patients from different parts of the province. They found dingy fever virus in 10 patients.
Director General of Health Department Dr Shareef Ahmed Khan confirmed the patients in KP Province and said that more then 44 people were shifted to hospital. “We found 10 of them in dingy fever “and they received treatment. He also confirmed that 3 people were died because of Dingy Fever in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa Province.
He said the 30 cases of Dingy fever registered in HariPur District and 10 cases Registered from Peshawar. D.G Health said that we take safety measure in hospitals for the dingy fever patients.

Investigation against Excise employees complete, who’s involved in sales of Theft vehicle in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa
Peshawar, 6 September 2011, Police has completed Investigation against the excise department official whose were involved in theft vehicle sales. Some of them received departmental showcase notices.
According to sources three investigative committees which were formed for investigation has also complete their investigation and they submit their reports to Chief Minister.
Computer expert of Civil Secretariat Saif Ullah Usmani whose also lead a investigative committee has confirmed that during 2009-2010 more then seven thousand vehicle data has stolen from Excise Department, in which employees were involved. During Investigation the committee also found that some Number Plates also stolen from Excise department.

Railway Employees has involved in Encroachment, Ramish Lal
Peshawar, 5 September 2011 .Member of standing sub committee of railway Ramish Lal has confirmed that Railway employees were involved in encroachment. He has talking to media in Peshawar railway station on Monday. Three member of sub committee including Ramish Lal, Dr Talat Mahesar and Dr Ayub Sheikh visited Peshawar division railway office.
The Divisional Supertandent Railway Peshawar informed the sub committee of Railway about the current situation of Peshawar Railway division progress. After the meeting Ramish Lal talked with the media and said that Railway Peshawar division has 17539 acres (Kanal) land and 310 Acres land of railway occupied for people.
He informed the media that 216 Acres land occupied by Provincial Department of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa province. He also said that some people occupied 94 Acres Land from Railway and now cases were in courts against of these people.
Ramish Lal whose also the member of National Assembly told the Journalist that during our visit of Multan , Rawalpindi and Peshawar division we found that Encroachment in Multan were high . He said we were trying to kick out the people from Railway land.
Ramish Lal said that sub committee will send suggestion to Standing Committee of National Assembly, the meeting of coming National Assembly will be held on 12 September.

Tribal Jirga reached Afghan Province to releasing the kidnapped children.

After the kidnapping incident local elders called for Grand Jirga of Mamond Tribe, but till now no result out. 35 members Tribal Jirga has gone to afghan province kunar to talk the Taliban groups, who are involved in children. The Grand Jirga also talk with afghan official for the releasing the Kidnapped children.
